This Little Piggy went to The Pembury Bar at Roux @ Parliament Sq - London - UK
We engaged the services of the sommelier to help us narrow down the choice on the vast wine list but helped him out a little bit by asking him to select one from the French Regional Wines section.
He recommended Chanson Vire-Clesse 2010 and it also stated on the menu had been recommended by Albert Roux………now I knew he had taste so we were happy to go with that.
It was from the Burgundy region made with a chardonnay grape and tasted not dissimilar to a Pouilly Fume. It went extremely well with the langoustine starter, lamb main and helped take the edge off the sugar rush that was the chocolate dessert.
