I have a similar attitude to drinks as I do to food, there are so many millions of different drinks in this world that I go out of my way to discover and try new ones. This is usually done by attending beer and cider festivals, partaking in wine and food pairings and checking out cocktail bars which again have that great thing of lists that I take as a personal challenge to get through.

Also being a CAMRA member, it perturbs me the amount of pubs that are closing in the UK and so try to champion real ale and good old fashioned pubs whenever I can. Chain pubs send a shiver down my spine apart from JD Wetherspoon who showcase a great selection of ever changing beers and stock a good variety of bottled beverages.
